We are a small, self-funded indie studio, developing games on our own terms and for the sheer love of the craft. Distributed across the globe, our part-time team has been working tirelessly since April 2024 to bring our vision to life. We create the games we want to play—experiences that blend fun mechanics with thrilling action, built with passion and a commitment to player enjoyment. Open to feedback and driven by creativity, we strive to craft engaging, memorable adventures that evolve alongside our community.
What are we working on?
Starborn Survivor
Starborn Survivor is a bullet hell, roguelite, deck-building experience set in the far reaches of space. Byte Sized Studios’ first game in development since April 2024, our team has spent the last 10 months crafting a fast-paced, strategic combat system where adaptability is key. As a Starborn Survivor, a robotic mercenary built for war, you’ll battle relentless alien invaders across distant colony planets, using a combination of modular upgrades and card-based enhancements to forge your own combat style.
Customize your survivor from the ground up—choose your core, defining your fundamental abilities and playstyle; equip an arsenal of devastating weapons, from explosive rocket launchers to quick slashing swords; and upgrade with powerful attachments, unlocking game-changing synergies to dominate the battlefield. No two runs are the same, and survival demands quick thinking and bold experimentation. Adapt, strategize, and unleash hell—your legacy is written in the stars!

WHATS NEXT?
Our roadmap focuses on delivering an engaging bullet hell roguelike experience with deep customization and replayability. We’re starting with core combat, modular upgrades, and initial deck-building mechanics. We will continue on to provide multiplayer co-op, expanded planetary biomes, and game modes. As we refine gameplay, community feedback will help shape future updates, ensuring Starborn Survivor evolves into the ultimate cosmic battleground.
